Initiatives and Events
Welcome to our Event Page. Here you’ll find the stories, initiatives, and community efforts that drive Love Life Now’s mission. Explore each project to learn more about our work, the impact we’re making, and how you can get involved.
The Get Safe Fund Initiative was created in 2020 as a way to help relieve some of the financial pressure associated with a sur-THRIVER making their initial steps toward safety.

LLN’s Homeless Brown Bag & Care initiative supports individuals experiencing homelessness—many of whom are DV survivors—by distributing quarterly brown bag lunches and care packages with essential items.

The evening features professional league indoor kart racing drivers vs the general public, all racing in memory of lives tragically lost to DV.

Each October, during DV Awareness Month, the Drive helps to garner between 200 to 250 pieces of linen! Help us surpass that number when you shop online to order a New Twin Sheet Set(s) and/or Pillow(s) and have your bedding donation shipped to us, to support D.V. survivor residents housed at a DV Shelter.

The evening features models from all walks of life, who have been affected by the issue OR are survivors of abuse. By strutting their truth on the runway, they help others speak up and begin finding their voices again.

The annual Adopt a Family Holiday Drive helps sprinkle joy for families/individuals affected by domestic violence, currently living in a domestic violence shelter.

Created by a handful of Canadian men in 1991, on the second anniversary of one man's massacre of 14 women in Montreal, the nationwide White Ribbon Campaign was formed in hopes of urging men to speak out against violence against women and girls.

We walk a mile…some in comfy heels, others in sneaks, to raise awareness around abuse, while remembering those taken too soon at the hands of their abusers.

The first annual LLN Survivor Retreat, held on *Saturday, October 17th, 2020, from 8 am to 6 pm, welcomed a limited number of survivors who were still dealing with the effects of trauma. The one-day retreat not only empowered but also educated and connected participants with other survivors, whom we hoped would become thrivers through the tools provided during the full day of activities.

LLN celebrated its 10th Anniversary with an intimate night honoring our sponsors and dedicated volunteers. The event raised funds for our Get Safe Fund, which supports survivors with DV-related expenses. Thank you for continuing to stand with us and keep #DVawareness at the forefront.
