Having experienced emotional and mental abuse from a significant other years ago, as well as seeing some family members experience it, DV awareness is something that is near and dear to me. I also have a tremendous amount of respect for our Founder and the work she does and want to be a part of something that continues to make a positive impact. 

Alongside event coordination, I am also a finance professional. I often help those who have been affected by abuse, understand that the issue of finances can be a form of abuse and understanding how your money works can be a tool that helps you leave it and regain control over your life.
